Pirandello gives us a satirical meta dark comedy in “Six Characters in Search of an Author” where we meet a dysfunctional family of characters who interrupt a theater company’s rehearsal. The Manager assumes them to be amateur improvisers, but is intrigued by their story out nonetheless.
